Three Terms

Examination and Promotion
Regular periodical tests will be held in addition to the main examinations.
Pupils absent without valid reason will be considered failed. A doctor's certificate is required for illness.
All dues must be paid before any examination.
Misconduct in exams can lead to cancellation or expulsion.
No borrowing of items allowed during exams.
Using unfair means will result in punishment or detention.
Mark verification may be allowed at the Principal’s discretion.
Grades in Drawing, Music, Craft, Dance, and Physical Education are based on continuous assessment.
Eligibility:
Minimum 75% attendance is required.
Principal may condone 10% shortage in genuine cases.
Promotion Criteria:
Attendance and regular class participation
Teachers’ evaluation
Written work and project completion
Failing in 1-2 subjects allowed if 35% marks in each and 40% aggregate is maintained
Sessional/internal marks are part of promotion criteria.
Final results will not be reconsidered.
Failing twice in the same class leads to discontinuation.
Progress reports must be signed by parents and returned to school.
Attendance and Leave Record
Sick leave beyond 5 days requires an application.
Minimum 85% attendance is compulsory.
Attendance percentage may be relaxed for medical reasons.
100% attendance students receive a special award.
Students missing first term/unit or half-yearly exams are ineligible for promotion.
